Three part series designed for the person that has always wanted to rope and learn the basics. Part #3 in the series builds off part 1 and 2- which was Introducing rope handling from the ground up, starting with the roping dummy on the ground, how to handle your rope and build a loop, working on safety on horseback, and correct positioning on a cow for improved catch percentage. This session will focus mostly on roping from horseback and using live cattle and the sled dummy. We will also be working out of the box. Practical cowmanship application for competition, stock horse, and working on the ranch. If you don’t have your own rope, ropes will be provided.
